Sunsets create some of the most beautiful and peaceful moments in nature. It is for this reason that we have decided to post the beautiful sunsets of Southern Arizona as a means to help create an opportunity for mindfulness and meditation.

Our sunset cam is set up in a small town called Red Rock, Arizona, which is just to the northwest of Tucson, Arizona. We moved to Arizona from Northeast Ohio in July 2014. It was amazing because you don't see many sunsets in Northeast Ohio. Basically in that area the sun only shines 47% of the time, whereas in Arizona it shines 90% of the time. We instantly fell in love with the beautiful sunsets.

In a world that has been taken over by multitasking, endless lists of things to do, texting, emailing, and phone calls, it's rare to have the opportunity to just sit and view the beauty of nature. But moving to Arizona we found that the sunsets were so breathtaking that they took precedence over the demands of everyday life. Therefore it's our wish to share the sunsets with the rest of the world. This first sunset is a time lapse from March 14, 2015. We hope you enjoy the sunsets.
